This Victorian quarter sawn oak carved glass china cabinet has beautiful detailing. The cabinet has a serpentine shaped glass door and curved glass sides. Notice the top of the doorframe is rounded to accentuate its curvaceous design. The door retains its original cast brass pull and lock. There is a brass key, which works the lock. Inside is one glass shelf and 3 wooden shelves. Behind the first two shelves is a mirrored back. All the wooden shelves have double plate grooves. The height between each shelf varies from 11" to 14". On each side of the door is an exquisitely carved angel displaying its wings. The cherub looking faces are beautifully rendered. The cabinet rests on ball and claw feet having their original wooden casters. The cabinet retains its original finish, which is in excellent condition having a rich color and patina. What a lovely feminine piece of furniture to display your collection.
