This oak barrister bookcase was made by the Lundstrom Furniture Company. These bookcases were originally for lawyers to store their reference/ legal books. They are designed to come apart and were ordered by sections. This bookcase consists of 7 separate pieces – a cap, 5 bookcase stacks and a base. Each has a glass door which lifts up and slides back for access. Three stacks will accommodate books up to 10” tall. Two stacks will accommodate books up to 11” tall. All have their original glass and brass knobs. The doors open and close easily. On the right side along the back of one stack is a small narrow section of wood missing. It is not obvious and not distracting. The finish is in excellent condition.
