NYE Pipe Vise & Bending Stand No. 88

This is a nice antique pipe vise, pipe or conduit bending station or stand. It is marked "NYE NO. 88" and the vise is also marked "NYE". We believe it to be from the 1920's era which was the height of manufacturing for this NYE Tool & Machine Works Company. The stand feature adjustable legs that can pivot inward for easier carrying and storage. It has about 80% of the original orange paint intact, and is clean, not rusty, no damage noted. The height of the table area is 36" with the legs set in the tri-lock position for use. The legs are held in place by angle wedge type of system with a lock pin on two of the three legs. Very sturdy when set in the locked position. There is a thread pipe tapped hole at the end opposite the vise for you to add a pipe handle for increased leverage if need be. The pipe vise jaws, T-handle, and all threads are in very good working condition also. The legs are straight and clean, all metal, not damaged. You are welcome to contact me to set up a time to come and see this bench, pick up, we may be able to ship this item to you if required, but it will be disassembled in the case of shipment and will still be an oversize package.
