Antique Wedgwood 8" Month Picture Tile - September

Here is "September", the subject with a border, transfer-printed in a rich indigo blue on an 8" x 8" white clay body from the Wedgwood series, "Old English" (also sometimes referred to as "Months of the Year") designed by Helen Miles with the design registered in March 1878. The tile is placed in a silver frame and in very good condition with a hairline at bottom left of center as shown. It has not been examined out of the frame.
