This Impressive well made antique bloodstone and carnelian striped watch fob is one of the most exquisite ones I have ever had. It is large and loaded with detail. Bloodstone is a type of chalcedony (a variety of quartz) of varying shades of green also known as heliotrope and is said to have magical and healing properties. This name comes from the Greek helio (sun) and trepein (turning). Iron minerals cause the characteristic red and brown spots, which are said to resemble blood drops The  rose gold filled watch fob chain has a large toggle.  The watch chain measures 16 " long ( tip to tip) .    The fob is rose gold plated and the chain is rose gold filled. Both are in very good condition and even nicer than the photos.
