Antique restaurant ware platter, marked "L.Straus & Sons" of New York, which was the distributor, not the maker. Impressed crown mark, made in England before 1923. Pattern of slate blue floral border. Measures 10.5" x 15" oval. Has moderate surface wear for it's age, but no chips or cracks. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
