Antique early 20th century good quality silver mounted Saudi Arabian Wahabite large Islamic Jambiya, Dharia, khanjar dagger.
Details: a curved, double-edged iron blade with a medial ridge, mounted in high grate silver hilt of elegant form finely repousse and engraved on the exterior with a scrolling foliage decorated with silver bead work three domed rosettes, and adorned with chased checkering pattern on the reverse.
Solid Silver scabbard lined inside with a wooden insert, richly adorned in repousse, and chiseled foliage, filigree, and large domed rosette. Back of the silver scabbard partly covered in leather and fitted with two loops for suspension.
