Antique Rococo Revival Figural Berlin Porcelain Chandelier
This extraordinary antique porcelain chandelier, believed to come from Meissen, features 16 candle arms, extensive floral encrusted decorations, figural songbirds and neoclassical figures. Condition is exceptional. There are minor losses to flower petals but no other major losses. This chandelier is similar in design and size to a Meissen chandelier sold by Christie's in Amsterdam on October 30, 2001 in lot 392 of sale 2524, which sold for 23,500 euro, equal at the time to $21,058 including buyer's premium.
