Antique 19th century Philippine, Mindanao Muslim Moro - Islamic dagger Punal, keris, kris.

Details: The flamboyant blade is made of sturdy steel, double-edged, and sharp to the touch. The blade is adorned with 9 luk or waves that have been chiseled on both sides, creating a beautiful floral motif.

The hilt, crafted from silver-plated copper, is pistol-shaped and engraved with scrolls, which add to the sword's ornate appearance. The pistol hilt's design also enhances the sword's grip, making it easier to hold.

In its originally silver-plated copper scabbard with a suspension mount finely reposed chased over its entire surface with scrollwork.

The weapon comes with its original silver-plated copper scabbard. The scabbard is finely repoussé and chased with scrollwork over its entire surface, creating an intricate and eye-catching design. The attention to detail on the sword and its scabbard shows how much care and craftsmanship went into making this beautiful weapon.
