Quadruple silver-plated sugar with lid, made by Meriden of Connecticut, #1800, circa 1880s. Measures 7.125"h. Engraved flowers, front and back.  Plate is in good condition, with only light scratches to the surface and no dents. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989
