ANTIQUE GERMAN CHICKEN WIRE GRANITEWARE ENAMEL OVAL BREAD BOX KEEPER
Antique German Graniteware Enamel Oval Bread Keeper. Done in the hard to find Chicken Wire Pattern. Measures 5 1/2 inches tall , 17 inches long and 9 inches wide. White with blue chicken wire pattern on all outside parts. White on the inside of the keeper. Has brass loop handle, clasp and hinges. As in the nature of graniteware and enamel, there is a one inch chip on the outside front of the bread keeper, and some chips around the screws on the inside base and the inside lid where the lid is attached to the bottom. This piece is in Very Good Plus to excellent condition. The pattern is bright and clear and the surface is clean with a nice glossy finish.
