Antique French Miniature Ivory Portrait of Empress Marie Louis by Catulle

This lovely 19th century portrait on ivory resides in a period frame and signed Catulle, is believed to depict the Empress Marie Louise (1791-1847), the Austrian archduchess and second wife of Napoleon who served as Empress of France from 1810 to 1814, and thereafter who reigned as Duchess of Parma.  Frame measures 7.6 by 5.8 in.  Diamater of the portrait visible is 3.1 in.
