French Empire Egyptian Revival Mantel Clock Garniture

This wonderful antique mantel clock garniture from the Egyptian Revival period features a clock surmounted by bronze sphinx and onyx stone obelisks with inlaid gold designs.  Clock measures 18 by 18 by 7.5 in (46 by 46 by 19 cm). Its brass 8 day spring driven movement is signed “AD Mougin” and has a half-hour strike on a coiled gong. In running condition but missing pendulum.  Case and obelisks are in good condition with a few minor dents and scratches. Please note, we do not guarantee the working order of clocks, as they very often require professional adjustment by a horologist following shipping.
