Solid oak extending dining or breakfast table, imported from England and dating back to the early 1900's. This kind of table is also known as a pub table.
The top sits on top of 2 self storing leaves which pull out and the center drops down in the middle to extend the table with ease when needed. It also stands on a turned trestle base with carved claw feet.
These tables are getting harder and harder to find. It is the perfect size to seat 4 people in a small breakfast nook and 6 to 8 people when extended.
It has a golden oak finish with a beautiful aged patina. There is some very minor wear throughout with no marks or rings to the top. Over all this table is in solid, sturdy condition with age appropriate flaws.
Dimensions: length 41 3/4", extended length 65 1/4", width 29 3/4", height 30 1/2".
Please see my store for the set of 4 chairs pictured which are a great match to this table. Item #GY784
