Antique English Art Nouveau Tubelined Tile

Unavailable

Really great mackintosh rose design on a 2" x 6" tile from TR Boote, c. 1900, in super shades of teal lavender and purple. The decorating technique is interesting in that the flower head is tubelined in white and the secessionist-inspired stems and dots have been laid down with a thicker application of slip; these are lightly worn in spots as they are somewhat higher than the tubelining.  Please write with any questions you may have.
