A good quality antique, 19th century, Meiji Period, Japanese Kutani porcelain plate - dish. The plate has a thick and heavy body, which is a characteristic of this type of Kutani porcelain that was generally made for the domestic Japanese market. The plate is extremely well-potted and beautifully hand-painted, and enameled with peonies and birds.

MEASUREMENTS: Diameter 25 cm (9 7/8 in) Height: 4.5 cm (1 3/8 in).

CONDITION: In good condition: no cracks, no chips or repairs.
