This is a demonstration device to show the achromatism of light through two pieces of like glass. The achromatism can easily be seen in the middle photo. The device is by Philip Harris & Co. Ltd., Birmingham, England and Harris is inscribed in script on the device. An interesting rather obscure scientific device.
