Neoclassical Parchment Covered Commode Chest of Drawers
Unavailable
This lovely commode, circa 1950, features a parchment veneer, round brasses with ring pulls, bow shaped front and tapered legs with spade feet. Its style is from the late eighteenth century, but will compliment a wide range of decors such as English Georgian ( specifically George III ), French Louis XVI, post-deco French Art-Moderne, and Mid-Century/Modern. We have found no hallmarks and the maker is unknown. Overall condition is very good. There are some minor scratches and traces of dirt on the parchment top, and some minor lifting and abrasions to the parchment at the edges and corners. Measures 41.5" wide, 37.5" tall and 22" deep.
