Mid century ca. 1968/70 Australian Reef coral and sterling silver Navajo necklace. Done in the squash blossom style with machine made beads, 92.5 sterling silver. The necklace has 10 pieces of old coral, with a pair of marching earrings. Stamped Sterling, but unsigned by the Navaho artisan. The necklace appraised for $2,500.00 and I am going for half price. I purchased this necklace along with an estate from the Hubble Trading Post in Ganado, Arizona. Hubble kept 20 or thirty Navaho, Hopi, Zuni, and Santo Domingo busy making jewelry for the trade, using only the best of materials. Thanks for shopping in the Land of Enchantment!
