Miniature Porcelain Cup and Saucer

Hand-painted in Japan, this little set measures a petite 2 1/4" for the saucer and 1 1/2" for the cup itself. The colors are pretty, and on each side of the cup, and on two places on the saucer are scenes featuring trees and water. The set is in very good condition--no chips or cracks. The gold embellishments are especially fine and bright, and the porcelain is translucent.
