Mid 20th century retro black wrought iron basket tray, with Asian influence and geometric cut-out design, circa 1950's. This wonderfully designed and well crafted piece is very sturdy and built for endurance. It is made from one sheet of cut-out iron, which has been shaped into a rectangle with 4 sides, with two ends rolled into handles. Two iron stands have been welded onto the bottom, so that the bottom of the tray stands about 7/8 inch off the table. The piece measures approximately 3.25 inches high, 17.5 inches wide, and 7 inches deep. The tray is in very good condition, with no dents or damage; there is some surface wear / oxidation which can be seen under close inspection. Please refer to the 4 photographs.
