Mid-Century Modern lime green Hyalyn Pottery planter, with sleek design and great color. Hyalyn Pottery (1947-1973) was founded by H. Leslie Moody and Frances Moody. It produced durable, high fired (2700 degrees) white clay pottery, using high quality materials. Many of their pieces were Eames-influenced. This vintage planter bowl measures about 3 inches high and 5.25 inches square; it is a glossy lime green on the outside and a lighter lime green on the inside. "hyalin 205" is embossed on the bottom. The planter is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, and a velvety smooth glaze. Shipping / packaging will be $9.00.
