Mid-Century Modern Ficks Reed Bamboo Furniture

Mid-century modern Ficks Reed 7-piece bamboo furniture, perfect for Florida room, 3 season room, or cottage. The 115+ year old Ficks Reed Company is known for its very high quality wicker, rattan, and bamboo furniture, with hand-applied finishes. This grouping includes 2 arm chairs, a 3-piece sectional, a very cool 2-level corner table, and a smaller side table. The seating items measure approximately 30 inches high and 35 inches deep. The arm chairs are approximately 29 inches wide. The end pieces of the sectional are 25.5 inches wide and the center section is 22 inches wide. The seating cushions were handmade by the original owner. They feature a floral cotton on one side, with green naugahyde on the reverse side and the sides. The cushions are fully reversible and have inner springs; the covers are zippered and removable. The impressive corner table measures approximately 26 inches high and 30.75 inches square. The side table measures approximately 24 inches high, 24.5 inches wide, and 16.5 inches deep. The tables are bamboo and oak. This beautiful set is a very rare find. The pieces are in good to very good condition. The bamboo and oak furniture is very solid and strong. The finish is in good shape, showing less than normal wear; there are some indications of wear on the tabletops. The cushions also show good care, with no rips or tears; there are some small areas of discoloration from age. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition.
