Mexican Woman & Deer White Unglazed Porcelain Sculpture, Signed La Pointe. It is a graceful and lovely of a Indian Woman on her knees holding the head of a deer or fawn. Notice the delicate details of her face. It measures 13" high x 15" long x 3.5" deep. I am really now sure of the exact medium used for certain but I believe it to be porcelain. It is very heaving there for I don't think it is hollow but there is a distinct resonating sound when knocked. ( not a thud). The condition is very good. There are no chips or cracks. There are some scuffs on the surface.
