Maytag And The Lennon Family Ad 1964 This is a May 1964 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from The Maytag Company of Newton, Iowa. Ad pictures the 11 children, plus new son in law, of Mr. and Mrs. William Lennon of Venice, California. Three of the girls sing on the Lawrence Welk show. Ad reads, Three years ago the 11 children of Mr. and Mrs. William Lennon were featured in one of our Maytag ads. Mrs. Lennon a Maytag owner for the 2nd time related how her 2nd Maytag automatic was doing the wash for all 13 Lennons and had never needed repair. On October 16, 1960, daughter Dianne become Mrs. Richard Gass of Venice, California. In March she became a Maytag owner. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/8 inches wide by 12 1/2 inches tall.
