Our charming portrait of a female dressed for a Mardi Gras party with mask was painted by Scing Randle Parker, a Texas painter first active in the 1890s.  Titled on verso, Vivian, and signed and dated 1900.  Stretcher measures 21 by 30 inches and the period giltwood frame measures 27 by 37 in.
