Marcus Garvey Black Star Line, Inc. Stock Certificate No. 754, 2 Shares to Amy McKenzie, Sept. 18, 1919. The certificate is in excellent condition with a very nice Marcus Garvey signature. The Black Star Line was incorporated in Delaware on June 23, 1919. Stock was sold at Universal Negro Improvement Association meetings, by traveling agents, and through advertisements in The Negro World newspaper. Quite rare. Very few low numbered stock certificates with Marcus Garvey's signature, complete with corporate seal and stamp are known to exist.
