Charming and rare Majolica / Barbotine pottery cobalt basket with gilt accents and trompe l'oeil (French for deceive the eye) tapestry wrapped around the handle and draped on the basket edge. In good used condition with wear to paint, imperfections from the time of manufacture and small restoration to tapestry tip on top of handle (see last photo). Shipped fully insured with tracking number. Measurements: 9" tall by 6.5" wide by 5" deep approximately.
