Maison Goyard Petite Trunk with 3-Star General Mark

This rare vintage shoe trunk by Goyard from the early to mid twentieth century is in very good condition. All hardware is original and it has been partially restored, including the replacement of the leather strap handle. We do not have the original key. Painted flag on the front has not been deciphered. Its red and yellow horizontal stripes are the colors of the Spanish national flag, but we cannot confirm the item is of Spanish origin. It was possibly the trunk of a three-star army general. It measures 14.3 by 20.2 by 18 in (36.2 by 51.4 by 45.7 cm). It weighs an estimated 12-16 lbs. za-
