A vintage Mah Jong set in a wood case. I believe the wood is rosewood. The case stands 6.5 in. tall and measures 9.5 in. by 6.5 in. It has 5 drawers plus the front cover that slides down to enclose it all. Brass handles and corners. Brass tabs on the drawers. One tab is broken off. Instructions are included for both Mah Jong and Sparrow. I believe the tiles are of ivory[bone] as a local jeweler has confirmed they are of ivory with a bamboo base. . Vintage would be from the 1920's. I believe. Please view images carefully.
