Hanging from heart shaped rosary beads, this beautiful sacred pendant is just stunning. The icon portrait pendant is made in layers. The gold is hand painted. ( see photo where I show it in the light). It might be made in the form of a serigraph where the print is done in layers. It is not a one layer print. The pendant has the seed pearl and rhinestone cross at the top and this measures 2 ¼" long and 1 ½" wide. The back is a thick gilt impressed design. Mary and Jesus both are highly detailed and look more like a renaissance painting than the front of a pendant.
