Luster Wall Pocket with Large butterfly & Flower

A truly striking luster wall pocket with a large orange/ red butterfly hovering over a large blue flower. The two handles outlined in black give this pocket a unique look. The pale cream luster glaze is good and it is free from chips or cracks. It does have a small mold defect on the right side which I did not notice when I took the pictures. This is only one the surface and typical of the manufacturing process at the time. The mark on the back is the circle with Hand Painted Made in Japan around the Cherry Blossom. Pieces with this mark generally are a higher grade than the usual Made In Japan ceramics.
