This is a good used No. 8 Lufkin rule clamp attachment, used for holding two steel rules together end to end. It will hold most steel rules Lufkin made, up to 1.25" wide. It is 2.5" long overall. This one is in fine shape with little wear, has a hardened gun blueing type finish on it. A nice machinist tool overall!
