Louis XVI Style Bronze and Marble Center Table

Unavailable

This lovely center table from the late 19th to early 20th century exhibits the finest craftsmanship, comparable to the works of Francois Linke and the other leading ebenistes of Paris.  It has a circular shape, marble top with four cabriole legs with sabot feet and three-dimensional female figures, and frieze decorated with acanthus and floral designs, plus bronze banding decorated the enture frieze and outline of each leg.  28 x 40.5 x 40.5 in; 71 x 103 x 103 cm.  No visible hallmarks.  Condition is good.  There are scratches, stains and visible wear to the bronze tabletop, consistent with age, plus a few small losses to the veneer on the frieze.
