Louis XV Tiger Maple Bombe Commode

This lovely bombe chest in the French Louis XV style likely dates from the early 20th century and is in very good condition. It has machine-cut dovetails and its original hardware. Recently refinished. Measures 52" wide, 22" deep and 36" high. It features quarter veneers on drawer fronts, sides and top, with all panels decorated with string inlay border. It has a carved skirt and rests upon cabriole legs with raised feet with scrolls. This item resides on the upper west side of Manhattan ( New York city ) and may be seen by appointment.
