This is a Lot of a Vintage Russian Front Nazi Medal, the Thing Julich 1934 Pinback and a NOWA Nordd Nickel-Silberwaren Hamburg 39 Pinback. The Thing is missing the pin in the back. The Russian front medal was given out for civilian and military for service in the first winter campaign on the Russian front in WW11. They had several criteria, like had to serve there over two weeks, getting shot, flying missions for 30 days to name a few. It came with a blue and red ribbon. Next, the Thing Julich 1934. In 1933 the Nazi Propaganda Ministry under Joseph Goebbels began a movement based on the "Blut und Boden" (Blood and Soil) ideology - the so-called "Thing" movement. A Thing was an ancient Nordic/Germanic gathering of the people, in an outdoor setting. Many of these arenas were built eventually across Germany. Finally, is the NOWA 1 MAI 1936 medal. This pinback has the iron cross, eagle, sword, hammer, plow and iron cross. Probably a link pin to the Thing ideology. This pin is in good shape.
