Lot of 5 Black Diamond Guitar Strings made by National Musical String Company

This is a lot of Black Diamond Strings manufactured exclusively by National Musical String Company, New Brunswick, N.J., U.S.A. Included in the lot is a black box which had contained a guitar set steel 754. The bottom of the box has two split corners, but the lid is intact and the gold printing is a fine example of printing of its time. There are 5 strings, each in its on envelope, some wrapped in tissue paper. The individual guitar strings are: E or 1st steel, No. 739; G or 3rd wound on steel No 742, D or 4th wound on steel No. 743, E or 6th wound on steel No. 745, A or 5th wound on steel No. 744. National Musical String Co. manufactured these guitar strings between 1897 and 1960.
