These glass calla lilies are over 80 years old and the are almost 2" long. They look as if someone took a real lily and made it out of glass, they are that real looking. The detail is not only on the front but the impressions on the back ( see close-ups in this auction and the matching necklace auction ) are highly detailed. Even the inside of the lily looks real. Truly remarkable glass work. I wish the photos could show you how amazing these rare black glass beads are. The wires are embedded into the glass and they hang from black enamel clip earrings with a molded glass top. MUCH nicer than the photos and I have the necklace to match .
