London Carving Chisel No. 10

$19.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a nice clean carving chisel marked "10" which matches the Addis London carving chisel chart for size and shape.  It is 3/8" wide (at the widest point of the two angles flare), x 9.2" long.  It has a maker's mark on it, but I can only read the letters "OBERG" which is deeply stamped into the steel, and hard to read or be sure of some of the letters noted. This is a very good quality steel chisel, that has a good sharp cutting edge ready to use, very clean, no rust a nice polished finish around the cutting edge area. The hardwood handle is very solid, good condition, no cracks in the wood and fits the steel socket very snug. The handle has a brass ferrule which is intact but has split at one place,  This is not causing any use issues, but may have to be replaced someday.
