This is an original ornament originally available exclusively from The Christmas Ornament Club. "The Little Goat Herder's" 24kt gold-finished filigree frame repeats the main elements of the painting, first published on September 7, 1944, by Sister Berta Hummel. The frame is made up of a gleaming circle of golden goats, interspersed with delicate, heart-shaped flowers. The ornament is individually hallmarked and registered, and is one of a set of 36 issued in the 1980's.
