LET'S TELL the WHOLE STORY about SEX. : How babies are born, Menstruation, Problems of puberty [and] The marriage union." The 31 page pamphlet is from a paper before Class in Family Living & Sex Education, University of Pennsylvania, Reprinted from Journal of Social Hygiene, January 1951. by Edward B. Lyman (1951) American Social Hygiene Association. Mr Lyman's bio on the back cover reads in part" Public relations expert and outstanding Catholic layman". The pamphlet includes scripts for 4 recordings. The first is on How Babies are Born. In it the father explains to his son that God takes a tiny seed from daddy and plants it in the mommy's body. And then he breathes into that something we call a soul. Included with the booklet is a small four page 1950 bookmark from the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers of Pittsburgh. It is called "Dad Instructs Dan". Dad explains about dreams and that "you should remember is this: never touch the sacred parts of your body except for cleansing purposes or for toilet purposes." The pamphlet is in very good vintage condition. The only damage I found was one small brown spot on the back cover. It can be seen in the photo of the back cover.
