Large vintage / antique Robinson Ransbottom Pottery (RRP) glazed stoneware jardiniere, in green, brown, and tan, with dark brown interior and unglazed bottom. The jardiniere has an interesting dimensional design utilizing circles and sunburst/starburst patterns, which has been described as a sunrise/sunset design. The interior has a pebbly texture similar to a salt glaze. This handsome jardiniere measures about 7 inches high, 8 inches in diameter at the top, and 6.75 inches in diameter at the bottom. It is very substantial, weighing almost 6 pounds. The jardiniere is in good to very good condition, with no apparent chips or cracks. It has light crazing, glaze pops, some interior staining, and a number of production imperfections creating small holes and fissures in the glaze.
