Antique Vanity Dresser with Mirror. This is a magnificent piece that appears to be made of Walnut. It features raised panels of burled walnut on the drawer fronts and as decorations around the mirror frame. The detailed woodwork ornaments this piece with exceptional design and gives it so much character.
The full length beautiful oblong mirror is surrounded by ornate carvings. The top of the mirror is crowned with a carved crest pediment and scrolls accentuate this piece with style. This vanity has its original finish with two small locking drawers on each side, with escutcheon hole for keys, two longer drawers with carvings, and hand cut dovetail joints with brass ring pulls. There are three multi-tiered decks in white marble with gray veins, two candle shelves on both sides of the mirror for lighting. The vanity has plenty of shelf space to display your colognes, perfume bottles, combs, brushes, antiques, or collectibles. The drawers provide ample storage space for anything the modern man or woman might need.
The circa for this vanity dresser appears to be late 1800's early 1900's and has been in use and, therefore,should be taken into consideration
CONDITION; Very Good, it's in beautiful condition for it's age, minor imperfections the wood on the legs as you would expect and a ring mark on a marble shelves.
MEASUREMENTS: 101" tall to top of the center finial medallion. 92" tall to the top of the frame; 48" wide x 17.5" deep. Two beveled marble top sides are 17.5" deep x 14.5' wide. The center beveled marble top is 16.25" deep x 23" wide. Four small side drawers are 9.25" wide. Two large center drawers are 45" wide.
