This is a beautiful celluloid tortoise hair comb (or peineta). One tooth has been glued. I believe this comb is at lease 80 years old. The entire comb is a beautiful tortoise pattern with shades of amber, brown and gold. The comb has a very intricate pattern. I do not know the exact date this comb was made or who the maker is. It is antique and will not be perfect. This comb measures 9 ¼ inches tall, 8 inches side to side and 2 5/8 inches front to back. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
