Large Antique French Empire Revival Armoire

Unavailable
This magnificent French Empire Revival armoire was recently imported from Paris and dates from the early 20th century. It measures an impressive 98.75" (8' 10.75") high by 70.5" (5' 10.5") wide by 21" deep. Wood is believed to be walnut. Burlwood decorates the outer areas of the door panels as well as its neo-classical columns, and a fine inlay (possible cherry wood) creates a border where the burl begins. Bronze mounts with neo-classical designs decorate the front feet, keyholes and columns. A large mount at the top features a neo-classical head, greek key design and gathered lotus flowers holding bouquets of roses in full bloom. It features a large center door with full length, beveled edge mirror. Side doors on either side Original keys are missing. Condition is very good. There is a scratch to the left column nears the keyhole. Export/import stickers both inside and out will be carefully removed so the finish is not marred. Matching marble-topped nightstand is available.
