The Black Boat or Barque Lamp from Lampe Berger is a stoneware lamp with an original shape and a two tone design. The top in earthy tone crackle enamel of Japanese glazing technique called Temoku . The body is a charcoal black About 5.5" tall Lampe Berger Basic Catalytic Burner or Wickstone, metal Snuffer cap and metal decorative shade Included. The shade is not completely black however but the the top has a gradual fusion of a slight bronze tone as I purchased it separate from the bottle afterwards. So it is not original but it sure looks nice as if it was meant to be there all along.. The condition is excellent. The burner and wick and cap are brand new.
