This is a great quilt made of 1920 to 1950 fabrics. It was completed in 1980 but it has been made over a period of several years. The information with it indicated that it was made by "Agnes" for her friend "Joy". The pattern is a variation of an old one called Beautiful Ladies Star. This is a hand appliqued quilt that was made from a pieced quilt pattern. It is made of 100% cotton fabrics and has a cotton batting. The backing is the same muslin fabric. It is in excellent condition with no wear. From the feel and look of the fabric, we believe that it has never been used or washed. Each star is 7.5" square.
