Knoll Dining Set with Face Off Table & 4 Hat Trick Dining Chairs by Frank Gehry

Included here is a Face Off dining table from 1996, with four matching Hat Trick side chairs (individually dated 1-26-96, 11- 6-96, 7-22-95, and 01-97). The table has a solid maple center column and table and chairs feature maple veneers. Two additional chairs dated 9-18-92 (Knoll's first year of production) are also shown in our image, but sold separately. One chair (dated 01-97) has some discoloration on the rear of the seat from a water spill, and another (dated 7-22-94) has veneer crackling across roughly half of the surface of the seat. Table has a loss to the veneer in one location on the edge, and the top is in excellent condition with no deep scratches and no stains. Designed and first produced by Knoll in 1992, this table and chair model are still available. The Hat Trick chairs retail new from Knoll for $1,771 each, and the table retails new for over $2,557. The 40" maple top on our table was retired years ago, and the top of this size is now only available in glass. The replacement cost of this set would total $9,641. ( za- )
