Kaufmann Bros. And Bondy Pipe 1947 Ad. This color January, 1947 ad states Fermentation seasoning process, during 24 months, makes mission Briar as mellow as old wine. Picture shows one of the underground pits with Mission Briar burls packed solidly in it, where these burls season, ferment and mellow for 8 months. Also 2 pipes the Oom Paul shape and the Forty Niner styled in the spirit of the days of 1849.
