John F. Kenndy 1960 PT 109 tie bar
Unavailable
Although he downplayed his heroic efforts during World War II when his PT-109 boat was sunk from under him, the 1960 campaign issued a tie bar featuring the boat slicing through the water with the slogan "Kennedy 60" near the bow. The gold-tone pin became a symbol of the campaign with the tie bar being a sought after collectible during his presidency.
